Oxygene Part VI examination
composer:Jean Michel Jarre 3' 54 " producer:J.P. Geersing 192Kb/s stereo mp3 release:18-12-05 [temporary not available]
Since Jean Michel Jarre made his first albums on an eight-track recorder, this had to be my goal for remaking this track: no more then eight tracks should be used! I wanted to know what choices Jarre had to make without midi, HD-recorders etcetera. Which track as guide? How many effects did he use? Did he record thru effects or were they added in the mix? Did he add sounds during mix to smalltape? Oh yes, it gives you the feeling to be that pioneer too, which he was. Respect.
Played with Eminent 310, Korg Mini pops 7, Roland Jupiter 6 (noise), Arturia Arp 2600 (seagul) en Cameleon 5000 (RMI?).
