Interview on Radio 2 with Sjors Frohlich [dutch]
Welcome to the eminent 310 site! This site is fully dedicated to the eminent 310 Unique, a unique organ with a fascinating sound made by a dutch company at the Green Heart of the Netherlands, Bodegraven. The 310 has a huge popularity under Jean Michel Jarre fans -pioneer in the electronic music genre- who used the 310 in 1975-1976 in his worldfamous song Oxygen part IV.
Eminent 310 was built from the early seventies until the eighties, available in two different implementations: a Theatre- and a Standard version. The Theatre version differs in the fact that it has a more classic look and feel and provided with a built-in rhythm box, the so-called Rhythmix (also available separately as an assecoire on the Standard version). Both species have the same possibilities and sound.
Availability of the 310 is getting less by the day and appears mainly in the Netherlands. Depending on its state, amounts between 50 and 1000 euros are paid. Some 310' s are even offered free of charge, but then mostly in a bad state. The 310's were built completely with analoque parts and provided with an electronic diagram at the insde, so in most cases well to repair.
This site is built to tell you all you about this amazing instrument, to put you in contact with other Eminent users en to help you with most attentive jammings. If you have any new information we certainly appreciate an e-mail!
